happy new year! 2011 was pretty radical but 2012 is going to slay. i guess one of my resolutions is to try and be more decisive, no more hesitating. gotta do what you wanna do, you only live once! also, i hit the beach like crazy in 2011 and i’m planning to do it even more in 2012. i think i wanna up my style and beauty game a little too, i got real lazy in 2011. i wanna still be lazy but care a little more. i still only want things that can go from the beach to the bar. i’m already obsessed with a couple of cheap low-maintenance products that are changing my life.

1) maybelline baby lips: i am obsessed! so obsessed i already got it in 2 shades in the past 2 days and i’m prob gonna get a 3rd. cherry me, peach kiss, and pink punch are highly recommended. the packaging is crazy cute and the tint is pretty pigmented. and it’s a lip renewal treatment so it’s supposed to give you baby soft lips after continued use. so far so good!

2) wet n wild ultimate sheer tinted moisturizer in sun kissed: i don’t wear foundation but this stuff is soo easy breezy and really does the trick of evening out your skintone. it’s barely there and has been kind to my skin so far. spf and sheerness make it beach friendly, and i’m pretty sure it’s flash-photography-friendly for night. and dude, it’s only 4 bux.

3) homemade brown sugar scrub: i started making my own brown sugar scrub with brown sugar, olive oil, and lavender oil, but that is another post for another time.

4) Gap leather shearling collar jacket (irl that collar is sooo super soft and luxurious)

5) Gap knit fur slippers in camel

also tickets to the lakers v. celtics on march 11 would be so sick too!
